I absolutely love Doggie Domain.  My job requires that I travel many days out of the week.  I have a 2 and 1/2 year old Boxer named Jack.  When I lived alone and needed someone to help take care of my precious dog, Doggie Domain did that and so much more.

I would normally be out of town 3-4 days a week and Jack would stay overnight at Doggie Domain.  He loved going to play with the other dogs and the staff was so helpful.  Jack would jump in excitement when we walked in and he would see the staff. In return, they cared for Jack as if he was their own.  I would sometimes be out of town for as much as 10 days at a time.  As hard as it was being away from Jack, I knew he was in the best hands while at Doggie Domain.  I would recommend Doggie Domain to anyone that wants the best treatment for their dog for daycare and particularly for extended boarding.  Doggie Domain is first class all the way.  They have been a huge help for me and I am so thankful to the staff and all their loving care for Jack.

Thanks so much,

To all my canine friends:

My name is Allie.  My mom and dad rescued me when I was 5 years old.  My prior families couldn’t deal with all my idiosyncrasies. They say I used to run away all the time. Really I was just trying to find where they would go during the day when they left me all alone.  So I found a new home and when my new mom realized I suffered from separation anxiety, she started bringing me to Doggie Domain during the day. I would get really scared when she would go to work and I would ruin things while she was away.  At first I was nervous about coming here and being separated from my family for the day.  But now, after coming for years, I’ve made so many new friends, and boyfriends, that I can’t wait to get in the car to come.  I love it here!  I get tons of tender loving care and play games of chase and catch. When I get tired, I’ll even take a nap.  My mom has to tug on me to get me to leave.  I do have to have my good-bye treats before I can go.

Coming here has improved my self-confidence to be alone. My family loves that I’m tired when I come home.  So come check us out!  I think you’ll love it here.  It’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me!

-p.s. How could you say no to a face like this?

Doggie Domain was such a great find for us. We were looking for a place that offered both day care and overnight boarding for Sophie, our Golden Retriever. We wanted a place where Sophie could play all day, socialize with other dogs and people, and burn off all that energy she has; a place where she could have her own social life outside of home and make new friends, both canine and human.

For overnight boarding, it was also important to us that Sophie be able to play during the day and not be locked up most of the time; we wanted a place that she would already be familiar with and where she would have fun during the day, to minimize the stress on her that typically comes with overnight boarding.

And of course it was very important to us that the staff consist of dog lovers, offering an environment where we felt that Sophie would be safe and well cared for. We found all of this at Doggie Domain, and feel very lucky to have such a place nearby. Sophie always looks forward to going to day care. Except maybe for food, there's very little she gets more excited about! Many thanks to the entire staff at Doggie Domain for making this possible!

Callie's Story
Written by Callie (fox terrier shown)
Transcribed by her parents.

The alarm clock goes off ...Mom and Dad begin to stir - the morning wake up - lights on, coffee, small talk, getting dressed.

I need to get up too...Rolling-over, stretching and yawning. Then (bling) I spring out of bed. After taking care of my 'morning business', I am ready for action...but soon I need to eat my breakfast...the most important meal of the day. Same old, same old - feels like the day is starting out just like yesterday, and the day before - I need to do something different, something fun and exciting.

Before I know it - we are loading in the car...Finally, off we go. But, where are we going?

We turn right down this street, things seem somehow familiar here...something about this place...not sure why...and then, then...I start to recognize some landmarks...we are going towards...towards...I can't believe it...I can almost see it....we are going to...to...to...Doggie Domain!!!!

YES, yes...DOGGIE DOMAIN...Squeaky Toys, Tennis Balls, Big Dogs, Little Dogs, and FUN, FUN, FUN...I am so excited...I cannot stand it...I start making little yelps, and running back and forth in the car...Doggie Domain is my favorite getaway!
